Graduate Education in Restorative Practices
Our faculty are advanced thinkers as well as practitioners, skilled at working with you to provide the tools and ideas needed to develop the science of relationships and community. Each course provides opportunities for exploration and creativity.
The Master of Science program - 10 courses - provides you with the foundations in theory, applications and innovative practices needed to lead systemic change in your work environment and community.
The Graduate Certificate program - 4 courses - will help you establish a firm understanding of how restorative practices works to distinguish yourself as a practitioner in your setting. Two required courses provide a foundation, and two electives allow you to tailor your program to your needs. Certificate credits may be applied toward to the Master of Science.

Professional Development
The IIRP offers additional professional development experiences to take your learning further.
- Facilitating Listening Circles — Learn a process to address the personal and collective impact of emotionally charged events during tumultuous times.
- Intentional Classroom Engagement — For more advanced practitioners, join other professionals and workshop through the Intentional Classroom Engagement workbook.
- Putting Theory Into Practice for School Staff and Administrators — Take the next step to adapt your basic restorative practices to your school situation.
- Putting Theory Into Practice for Advanced Circle Facilitators — Develop and advance circle facilitation skills and competencies through self-reflection and practice.
- Restorative Practices Training of Trainers — Complete the Restorative Practices Training of Trainers to teach others the methodologies and assist in the implementation of restorative practices in your school or organization.
These events can also be offered directly to your school, college, community or organization.
