Lecturer

Kiyaana Cox-Jones is a distinguished IIRP lecturer, coach, and creative practitioner at the intersection of restorative practice, arts integration, and social wellness.

With a background in both the performing arts and social science, Kiyaana’s work bridges emotional intelligence, narrative embodiment, and restorative methodology. Her coaching and teaching empower individuals to reconnect with their creative voice, honor their lived experiences, and bring bold visions into form—whether through storytelling, community engagement, or personal growth.

As Assistant Director of Multicultural Life at Muhlenberg College, she was introduced to restorative practices. These practices felt familiar to the way she was leading her local theater, and became her new normal in addressing harm in faith-based leadership, on the college campus, creating cross-cultural campus events, and in being an advocate for justice. Her passion is to serve and learn WITH others through her work with the IIRP and to be restorative in her personal life. Kiyaana has developed a love for restorative practice in self-care, healing from trauma, and leading restoratively through a DEIB lens.

As a multidisciplinary artist and creative strategist, Kiyaana is the Founder and CEO of KJ Productions and the visionary behind The Brave Space on Stage—a dynamic initiative that merges theatre and restorative practices to create brave spaces for healing, dialogue, and transformation. Her original play Magic gained regional recognition for its powerful storytelling and thematic depth, resonating with audiences through its exploration of loss, resilience, and identity.

Kiyaana holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University and a Master’s in Social Science from the IIRP Graduate School. Currently, she is completing doctoral studies in East-West Psychology, where she continues exploring the synergy between creativity, cultural wisdom, and integrative well-being. A sought-after speaker and thought partner, she brings a presence that is both grounded and imaginative—inviting others to dream with clarity and lead with authenticity.
