Rubi Pourawal is an educator with the Peel District School Board. In her 25 years of teaching, she has held various roles at both the school and board level. She has facilitated training and restorative resolution sessions and has particularly enjoyed helping school teams within the board with planning school-wide implementation of restorative practices. Rubi believes in the power of restorative practices for creating caring communities where respect is the foundational principle and where all members are empowered to share their voices and value the voices of others.
