Instructor

Caroline Gosling joined IIRP Canada as an instructor and coach in 2017 after a long career as an educator in Edmonton, Alberta. During that time, Caroline taught at elementary, junior high and senior high schools, was a consultant for students whose behaviour could be challenging, and was a principal at several schools. Caroline also had the opportunity to gain a provincial perspective through secondments to Alberta Children’s Services and Alberta Education. Caroline was introduced to restorative practices in 1998 and since then has seen firsthand how a restorative approach can transform schools and lives. Caroline received her B.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Alberta, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Portland, and a Restorative Justice Certificate from Simon Fraser University.
