Fabián Armendáriz immigrated from Mexico to Kansas at the age of 10. He currently serves as the Division Director of Operations for Kansas’ largest school district, Wichita Public Schools. In that role, he supports Nutrition Services, Supply Chain, Student Transportation, Print Center, and other district-wide initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership, a Master of Business Administration, and is currently in the middle of dissertation work for an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.
Fabián strongly believes in building a positive and inclusive work culture through the use of restorative practices. Over the last few years, he has supported a multi-year, district-wide implementation of this meaningful work. Through that process, he has experienced first-hand the positive impact restorative practices has had not only on the Operations Division, but the entire school district.
