In this video, Keisha Martinez, a music therapist and adjunct lecturer at the University of the West Indies, discusses what she enjoyed most in her classes at the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School.

"Interacting with people from all over the world who have this wide range of experience really keeps me motivated,” she says. Martinez experienced mutual respect between her classmates and a sense of inclusion and community. "The IIRP models what it teaches," she says. "It's restorative!" Martinez earned a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Practices from the IIRP Graduate School in 2015. She recently presented at the IIRP Latinoamérica Conference in Costa Rica on her restorative work at correctional facilities in Trinidad and Tobago. You can read an Alumni Spotlight about Martinez and her work.
