Koury Cook joined the IIRP in 2015 as a full time instructor. He specializes in working with school leadership to support implementation of the SaferSanerSchools™ program. He also provides coaching for school systems that want to develop trauma-informed care and leadership. Before working with the IIRP, Koury spent 15 years serving youth and families within the juvenile justice system at Northampton County (Pennsylvania) Juvenile Justice Center (NCJJC). He earned a Master of Science in Restorative Practices from the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School in 2019.
