Karen Junker was trained by the IIRP in 2009 and practiced restorative practices with her math classes and schoolwide as the Restorative Practices Coordinator for a large middle school in San Francisco Bay Area. She currently serves as a consultant for a number of districts in California and has broad experience working with school sites to cultivate their capacities for implementing, sustaining and developing restorative practices.

Karen's area of interest is discovering that as little as 11% can tip the scale of an organization's culture. With coordinated and focused action, and by adding school staff who add value, a minority view of what is possible can quickly become the majority view of what is possible.
