Barbara Grochal brings a wide range of professional experience in education, consulting, mediation and coaching to her work supporting restorative practices in communities and schools nationally. As the Director of the School Conflict Resolution Education Program at the Center for Dispute Resolution, University of Maryland School of Law, she provides training support to educators and nonprofits throughout Maryland. She served as Chair of the Maryland Commission on the School-to-Prison Pipeline and Restorative Practices, a commission whose recommendations became the impetus for statewide transformation in school discipline practices. Ms. Grochal holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College.
