The International Institute for Restorative Practices has a newly created position available for a Senior Accountant to work in the fast-paced fiscal department of a growing non-profit consortium. This FT exempt position will report directly to the CFO and work with current staff of 3 to help manage the expanding operations of the unit. Responsibilities include G/L maintenance and reconciliation, variance analysis, preparation of monthly financials and accompanying commentary, and supporting the financial staff to ensure quality and completion of work. The Senior Accountant will also help create and monitor monthly projections and sales goals as well as annual budgets. In addition, (s)he will work on special projects, gaining exposure across the consortium.
Candidate must possess a high level of initiative; a solid understanding of GAAP; the ability to work effectively, cooperatively, and efficiently in a team environment; and an innate exceptional attention to detail. A degree in Accounting or Finance is required. QuickBooks experience is preferred. EOE
