Recruitment and Admissions Advisor
The International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School, located in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking a Recruitment and Admissions Advisor.
The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor works in the IIRP’s Student Services unit and supports our prospective graduate students from initial point of inquiry through the admissions process. A successful candidate for this role must be passionate about collaborating with people, committed to creating long-term, trusting relationships, be a motivated professional who takes the initiative in their own learning and growth, confident in recommending data-informed changes and improvements, and someone who enjoys a variety of recruitment and admissions activities.
The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor’s responsibilities include building and sustaining positive relationships with our prospective graduate students, learn about their goals and interests and recommend learning opportunities to support their learning, create and maintain communication schedules with prospective students and applicants, collaborate with colleagues across units to develop and facilitate student recruitment initiatives, and compile applications documents for the Admissions Committee.
The ideal candidate will be able to navigate shifting priorities, be detailed orientated, organized, a critical thinker, and genuinely enjoy problem-solving and working closely with students and prospective students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, higher education, social sciences, or other related fields is required.
- A minimum of two years’ student services experience
- A minimum of two years’ business/organizational experience
- The ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting timelines
- Critical thinking skills with a highly detail-oriented approach
- The ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work effectively as a team
- The willingness and ability to adapt and learn
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The initiative to learn and to build relationships
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor will excel with a:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM and/or other tracking systems and databases
- Knowledge of the field of restorative practices and its framework
- Knowledge of higher education
This is a hybrid position and requires the candidate to be able to work from our Bethlehem, PA office as needed. You must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet for hybrid working.
