Save June 10-12, 2015, for IIRP Europe Conference in Budapest, Hungary
"From Dream to Reality: Dawning of a New Social Science"

The IIRP will shortly distribute a Call for Presenters for the upcoming IIRP Europe conference, entitled “From Dream to Reality: Dawning of a New Social Science,” to be held June 10-12, 2015, in Budapest, Hungary. We are pleased to announce that IIRP Europe will begin holding a conference every other year, alternating years with the conference of the European Forum for Restorative Justice.

Les Davey, director of IIRP Europe, announced that the conference honors the vision expressed in retiring IIRP president Ted Wachtel’s most recent book, Dreaming of a New Reality. The morning plenary sessions and afternoon breakout sessions will feature pioneers and practitioners from around the world. The conference will especially highlight the possibilities for restorative practices beyond formal restorative justice in a wide range of settings and countries.

The IIRP will hold its annual World Conference based on a similar theme on October 26-28, 2015, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. By holding conferences in both Europe and the United States, the IIRP will provide greater accessibility for more people to learn about restorative practices.
