Restoring Community

Find realistic solutions to your greatest challenges

IIRP professional development will provide you with practical skills that you can use immediately in your personal and professional life, whether you work in restorative justice, schools, social services, counseling, leadership, the pastoral field or as a volunteer.

Professional development experiences can stand alone, but they are also modules in a larger framework that build toward a comprehensive understanding of restorative practices.

Professional development events, symposia and conferences can be a part of your graduate education as part of the IIRP's unique hybrid learning model. With the addition of readings and interactive online coursework, you can delve deeper with our faculty and participate in our graduate level curriculum.

Many events have been approved for continuing education credit by the following professional associations:

National Association of Social Workers - Category: Social Work
Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative
Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors
Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48 Approved Provider
Restorative Justice Council (RJC)

RJC has awarded the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Europe its "Training Provider Quality Mark" (TPQM). With this mark, participants can be assured that all IIRP Europe events meet national standards for quality restorative practice.
